Carbone Collision Center – New Building
Utica, New York
Completed in 2017 the new Carbone Collision Center and Fleet Sales facility is a 28,000 sf custom Butler building. From a concept plan provided by the paint equipment supplier, we developed In-house floor plans, building shell concept, site design, and budgets for the owner to consider.
After approval, we proceeded with final design with our Architect, Site, Structural, and Mechanical/Electrical engineers to develop final plans and bid the key components of the project for a final Design-Build/Construction Management proposal.
The building features a 2 story Office area for both the Collision center and Fleet Sales with full height curtain wall aluminum and glass area façade. The exterior wall panels are Butler’s Therma wall Factory Insulated Metal Panels and ground face masonry knee walls. We used a single ply TPO roof system with interior drains to avoid exterior gutters and downspouts.
The high tech state of the art Collision repair Frame Straightening and Paint booth systems were provided by the Owner. We provided electrical and mechanical systems to support them, as well as, the concrete pits.
